others sharing info on that platform.
Just in case - I see the code you posted there looks to me about the
same as in the referenced GitHub issue - but if you made any changes or
new information that would help an eventual official implementation
inside AnkiDroid, could you add a comment on GitHub?

Anki Mathjax Vs Latex
Was anybody able to make MathJax work in Anki? I mean on the mobile platforms in particular. I have flattened the directory tree of MathJax and edited MathJax.js to load the corect file, but it works only in the preview (or on Anki desktop with JS Booster addon installed), or on the web with a workaround for.js files having the wrong mime type. How to use MathJax in Anki & AnkiDroid (online and partially-offline) This method will be using MathJax's CDN. For AnkiDroid, once you have loaded a card with MathJax while you are online, Android's WebView will cache it for you; meaning, you can now use MathJax offline. For Anki, you have to use JSBooster to be able to use external Javascript. It saves the settings which the user can configure by right clicking the MathJax output (which does not work in Anki anyway afaik, because the right-click is intercepted by Qt). Concerning configuration: All the existing configurations would break. Here are the documents which talk about ways to configure MathJax after being loaded. It may have been fixed by now, but for a long time Anki's inbuilt cloze functionality tended to break when combined with LaTeX (via mathjax), inserting random line breaks and preventing the symbols from being parsed. This was the impetus for creating note types that automatically and robustly generated much cleaner cloze cards.
